He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Hinton and Myrtice Reaves Hinton; and his siblings, Kenneth, Scott Hinton and Shannon Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Spain Hinton; his daughter Robin Hinton Irons; his granddaughter Saragail Irons; and his nephews, John Dale Hinton and Andy Powell.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Elkins East Chapel (7435 US-72, Killen, AL 35645).
