He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Houston (Nellie Mae Kilgore) and Roy Kilgore, Sr. (Lucille Kilgore); and his siblings, Ronnie Kilgore, Lanny Kilgore, Roy Kilgore, Jr. and Virginia'Susie'Ferrell.
He is survived by: his wife Estell; his daughters, Laura Rena Davis (Michael) and Kimberly Kilgore Barber (Lane); his grandchildren, Britany Melvin (Patrick), Skye Tharp (Caleb), Trevor Barber, Alyssa White (Jacob), Anna Grace Crook (Bryson), Matthew Isbell, Samantha Barber, Isabella Kitchens and Slade Kitchens; and his siblings, Richard Kilgore (Dick), Ricky Kilgore, Jacky Kilgore, Devota Kilgore (Hornet), Patsy Jones and Don Kilgore. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the North Point Community Church (9178 Old Hwy 31, Kimberly, AL 35091). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the North Point Community Church (Kimberly Methodist) (9178 Old Hwy 31, Kimberly, AL 35091).
