We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2024, at the age of 72, Johnny Len Maxfield of Kinston, Alabama, born in Carmi, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Jack and Loretta Colson Maxfield. He is survived by : his significant other Pam Brooks of Kinston, AL; his children, Jeff Maxfield (Keisha) of Stuarts Draft, VA, Jim Maxfield (Michelle) of Lancaster, SC and April Lowery (Derrick) of Ft. Lawn, SC; and his siblings, Jackie Brekke (Michelle) of Des Moines, IA, Denny Maxfield (Debbie) of Lewisville, IN, Janet Fowler of Petersburg, IN and Bryon Maxfield of Petersburg, IN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Samson, AL 36477).
