He was predeceased by : his parents, Jessie Frances Bass Howell and Willie Gray Howell; and his siblings, Adelaide Mullens and Lamar Howell. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Jo Adkison Howell; his daughters, Shan Howell Sessions (Chris) and Sonna Howell Davis (Jacob); his grandsons, Jessie Sessions, Grayson Sessions (Chancey) and Jaken Davis; his siblings, Carolyn Patrenos, JoAnn Kerr and Willie Frank "Bill" Howell; and his brother-in-law Dykes Adkison. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
