As Tommie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Tommie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Tommie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Wilson Harrell; and his parents, Ruby Lee Stanford Harrell and Nathan Gaston Harrell. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Maughon (Jimmy), Tommy Harrell, Jr. (Traci) and Lee Harrell; and his sister Sheila Brown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child.
