With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Moon Ashby (Laceys Spring, Alabama), born in Madison, Alabama, who passed away on April 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Moon and Louise Honea Moon; her husband Wayne Ashby; and her siblings, Reedus Moon, Dorothy Byrd and Daisy York.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ted M. Moon (Nancy), Danny R. Moon (Rebecca), Ricky M. Moon (Sheila), Marlene Waller and Sandra Johnson (Terry).
