He is survived by: his wife Dollie Lawrence; his children, Diane Guffey and Carl Lawrence (Heatherly); his grandchildren, Blake Guffey, Jessie Lawrence (Doug), Joey Lawrence (Alyssa), Jake Lawrence (Jacie), Logan Stines (Haley) and Emily Simpson (Isaac); his siblings, JC Lawrence, Kathryn Whisenant (Kenneth), Francine Edwards (Paul), James Lawrence and James Harold Griffin; and his son-in-law Greg Guffey. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home (3552 Hwy 231, Laceys Spring, AL 35754). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City (3158 Rescue Rd, Laceys Spring, AL 35754).
