She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland Martin and Bevi Imogene Bucklew Martin; her sons, Keith Edwards and Christopher Malone; and her sisters, Nellie Ruth Phillips and Priscilla Jean Mardant.
She is survived by: her husband William C. "Sonny" Edwards; her daughters, Pamela Traylor, Rita Warren (David) and Lisa Mango; and her siblings, Grover Edward Martin and Julie Whitehorn (Leon). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home (3552 Hwy 231, Laceys Spring, AL 35754). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
