It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Ferrell-Peterson of LaFayette, Alabama, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Randy Peterson; her stepchildren, Annette Parmley (Steven) of Davenport, FL, Latoya Gordy (Wilbert) of Nashville, TN, Shevonne Pruitt of Hornlake, MS, Demetrius Peterson of East Chicago, IN, Edmund Peterson of East Chicago, IN, Dorian Peterson (Takesha) of Hammond, IN, Edward Peterson of Shelbyville, TN and Renita Baldon (Billy) of Southaven, MS; her sister Alma Ingram (Cedric) of Lafayette, AL; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Ferrell of Lafayette, AL, Darnell Williams of East Chicago, IN, Juanita Evans (Leon) of Indianapolis, IN, Harold Peterson (Joyce) of Wichita, KS, Donald Peterson and Jeffrey Peterson of Eash Chicago, IN. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the New Mt. Sellers Baptist Church (660 Ave A SE, La Fayette, AL 36862).
