She is survived by: her son Tobius Ray (Cierra) of Knoxville; her siblings, Deborah Ray of LaFayette, Alabama, Randy Ray of Lanett, AL, Priscilla Williams of LaFayette and Polly Williams of LaFayette; her grandchildren, Zaharra Ray and River Ray of Knoxville; her close friends, Patricia Heath, Edwina McCurdy, Martha Burton, Mae West Allison and Tammy Pinkle; Ocean. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (731 1st St SE, La Fayette, AL 36862). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery (402 B St, La Fayette, AL 36862).
