He is survived by: his mother Betty Haynes; his siblings, Richard Haynes of Opelika, AL, Wanda Allen of LaGrange, GA, Cynthia Weaver of LaGrange, GA, Betty Marie Haynes of Opelika, AL, Shirley Haynes (James) of LaFayette, AL and Jacqualine Heard of Hogansville, GA; and his aunt Frances Cook of Sylacauga, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christian Memorial Church (1644 US-431, Roanoke, AL 36274). A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Skyview Memorial Gardens (31171 US-431, Five Points, AL 36855).
