Peggy Blanton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Blanton of LaFayette, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peggy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hurst and Annie Lauderdale Hurst; her husband Troy Blanton; and her son Joel Blanton. She is survived by: her children, Anita Blanton of LaFayette and Wesley Blanton (Brandy) of LaGrange; her brothers, Pete Hurst of LaGrange and Larry Hurst (Cindy) of Orange Beach; and her grandchildren, Laken Blanton and Hayden Blanton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
