It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Whitlock Burton of Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Tommy Whitlock; her mother-in-law Lee Burton; her uncle Gerald Moore; and her aunt Nancy Cantrell. She is survived by : her mother Jennifer Duffey Moore (Thomas); her husband John Burton; her son Drew Burton; her siblings, Carol Yin (William), Kelli Hodge (Ken), Russell Moore (Carla), Anna Watkins (Cole), Carrie White (Mike) and Roy Burton; her father-in-law Durward Burton; her uncle Dennis Duffey; her aunt Anne Moore; and her nieces and nephews, Christine, Bucky, Dawson, Sawyer, Quinn, Rachel (Josh) and Rebekah (Quinton). She is also survived by other relatives and very close friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Baptist Church (3302 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be sent in her name to Valley Baptist Church.
