He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Overton Bailey; his daughter Malinda Duvall; his parents, James Bailey and Dorothy Bailey; and his brother Phillip Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Bishop (Sherry) of Lanett, Damon Bailey (April) of Huguley and Casey Weldon (Joe Ricky) of Lanett; his son-in-law Allan Duvall of Beulah; his grandchildren, Jason (Veronica), Joshua (Ashley), Roxie (Nick), Savannah (Wil), A. J., Kaley (Collin), Baylee (Jackson), River and Ashton; his great grandchildren, Lyric, Xander and Rynlee; and his brother Don Bailey (Robin). He is also survived by his brother- and sisters-in-law, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
