She was predeceased by: her parents, Lathing Thomas Steen and Mary Odell Nolen Steen; her husband Kenneth E. Hamm; and her siblings, Loretta McCollough, Helen Steen, George Steen, Alice Courtney, Glennie Gorham, Margie Davis and Wanda Steen.

She is survived by: her daughter Paula Davis; her son-in-law Tommy; and her brother Douglas Steen (Mona). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
