Ethon Gaither Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025, at the age of 84, Ethon Gaither Jr. of Lanett, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie May Ward and Ethon Gaither, Sr.; and his sons, Ethon Erick Gaither, III (Trey) and Trey. He is survived by: his close friend John Temple (Finance); his wife Sandra Kay Gaither; his daughter Jan; his grandsons, Benjamin Blanton (Jackie) and Russell Gaither (Camara); his stepgranddaughter Katherine James (Mack); his great grandchildren, Zuri Gaither, Emma Blanton, Grace Blanton, Cora James and Gary James; his sister Anne Gaither Ross (Johnny); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Crawford, Sonny and Joan Moreman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (701 S 6th St, Lanett, AL 36863).
