He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Willard Eason, Sr. and Lala Daniel Eason; and his sister Dorothy Jean Allarde. He is survived by: his wife Susan McKinney Eason; his children, Beverly Eason (Shelia), Tony Eason, Julie Eason, Lindy Hamilton (Rickey), Janet Harmon and Tammy Johnson; his grandchildren, Robert Swader, Weslee Eason, Toni Eason, Ali Abdeltif, Zoie Attaway, Alyssa Abdeltif, Dean Gleaton, Caleb Worthy (Desirae), Brandon Hamilton (Caroline), Adam Hamilton (Hillary), Dana Richardson, Nikki Watkins (Jace), Levi Harmon, Savannah Turner (Brad) and BJ McMakin (Aynsley); and his sister Marie Sims.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Happy Valley Baptist Church (1623 49th Ave SW, Lanett, AL 36863).
