As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Franklin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Jennye Stiggers; his daughters, Candace Cherry (Marvin), Liane Stiggers and Kristin Stiggers; his grandchildren, Caleb Alexander Cherry, Darby Xavier Wright and Micah Elliott Cherry; and his siblings, Abraham Stiggers, Jr., Rebecca Hardin, Laura Gilford (William) and Dorothy Stiggers-Wright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (420 N 12th Ave, Lanett, AL 36863). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Harmony Memorial Park (6415 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Lanett, AL 36862).
