It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Guntherberg (Lanett, Alabama), born in Sewanee, Tennessee, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Guntherberg and Ophelia Guntherberg; and his brothers, Felix and Kevin Guntherberg. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; and his son Trey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Lanett (701 S 6th St, Lanett, AL 36863).
