She was predeceased by: her parent Jerry Templeton; her son Justin C. Benefield; and her grandparents, L. M., Lucille Cotney, Cornelia and Denson Templeton.
She is survived by: her mother Peggy Thrower; her stepfather Leonard Thrower of Lanett, AL; her siblings, Glenn Templeton of Valley, AL, Anita Bailey of Valley, AL and Deborah Akins of Fredonia, AL; and her close friend Amber Kent (Everett Tines) of Lanett, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
