He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carmack; his son Alan Carmack (Nicole); his sisters, Carolyn Hollingsworth (Jerry) and Beverly Kjoss (Vic); his sister-in-law Mildred Langley; his grandchildren, Cole Carmack (Elaine) and Hayden Carmack; his nieces and nephews, Georgia Ivy (Steve), Lori Fortier (Steve), Darlena Mears, Tammy "Mac" Clifton (Jonathon), Jerry Ray Hollingsworth (Cathy), Joey Lyles, Joe Carmack and Victor Kjoss; and his close friends, Janice Carmack and Mike Ruff (Kathy).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
