He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Connell Trammell; his daughter Keaena McCullough; his stepdaughter Latasha Trammell; his grandchildren, Kanecesa Brown and Alisha Griggs; his siblings, Bobby Lloyd (Vera), Jerry Lloyd, Johnny Brooks, Willie Brooks (Kesha), Deshawn Brooks (Jessie Mae), James Brooks, Lucy Morgan, Mallowniec Brooks and Joann Carlisle; his aunts and uncles, George Lloyd (Joann), Bobby Lee Lloyd, Clarence Heard (Dorthy), Walter Abner (Elizabeth), William Heard, Jr., Mary Todd, Barbara Jean Abner, Willean Heard and Cynthia Lloyd; his great-aunt Nadind Abner; his great-uncle Charlie Abner, Sr.; and his close friend Willie Rowe Trammell.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Baptist Church (2028 31st St SW, Lanett, AL 36863).
