She was predeceased by: her husband Jay C. Handley; her daughter Linda Howard; and her sisters, Mozelle Causey and Okema Morrow. She is survived by: her children, Betty Vickers, Patsy Skinner, Martha Handley, Barbara Tittle (Tommy) and James Handley (Katrina). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and many cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery (6415 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Lanett, AL 36863).
