He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Oliver, Sr. and May McDonald Oliver. He is survived by: his wife Denise Sims Oliver; his daughters, Katie Ponder (Slade), Kristen Groover (Charlie) and Karlee Hadaway (River); his grandchildren, Reese Ponder, Sara Grace Ponder, Emerson Hadaway, Marlo Hadaway and Warren Groover; his mother-in-law Margurite Sims; his aunt Ann Batson; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Neil (Greg) and Lara Carmichael (Mark); his niece Anna Carmichael; his nephews, Joe Neil (Allie), Jacob Neil and Steven Coker; his great-niece Junie Neil; and his cousin Dickie McCarthy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. Amazingly, he attended every single Auburn home football game from 1970 until the Covid lockdown in 2020.
