Cynthia Lanelle Roper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Lanelle Roper of Lapine, Alabama, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Earl Roper; her son Grant Roper; and her parents, Alvin Bernard and Vivian Lanelle Fisher Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Brittany Tindal (Alex), Cole Roper and Blake Roper (Grace); her grandchildren, John Austin Roper, Emily Kate Tindal and Caden Reed Tindal; and her siblings, Brenda Newton (Steve) and Gary "Gooch" Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Roper Family Cemetery (369 New Bethel Church Rd, Highland Home, AL 36041).
She was truly a fixture in her community throughout much of her life because you could always count on Cindy to practice good Christian charity every chance she had.
