He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Barton and Irene Barton; his wife Alice Barton; his children, Tammy Townley of Centre, April Barton of Seattle, WA, Dawn Leenerts (Brad) of Waleska, GA, Charles "Buddy" Woodfin (Paige) of Vilonia, AR and Mary Boggs (Andy) of Lacombe, LA; and his brothers, David Barton, Keith Barton and Dennis Barton (Charlene). He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Concord Baptist Church (4494 Floyd Rd SW, Mableton, GA 30126). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
