She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Higginbotham; and her parents, L. C. Taylor and Gladys Taylor (First Baptist Church Leeds). She is survived by: her sons, Edward (Jennifer) and Michael (Lisa); her granddaughter Taylor; her sister Gloria Higginbotham; her son Jon (JoAnn); her sister-in-law Charlotte Morton (Claude); and her niece Cherie League.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (2001 Cedar Grove Rd, Leeds, AL 35094).
