She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin R. Shirley; her parents, Sam Parsons and Nellie Parsons; and her brothers, Bobby Parsons (Pat), Donald Parsons (Shirley), Fred Parsons (Mary) and Precious.
She is survived by: her brother Ronald Parsons (Carol); her nephew Jeff Parsons (Phyllis); and her nieces, Leslie Hill (Jeff), Rhonda Pate, Theresa Bolin and Mae Parsons.
In lieu of flowers it was Betty's wishes that donations be made to the St. Clair County Gideons, PO Box 895, Moody, AL 35004.
