Christi leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christi’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Christi will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her son Christopher Fagan; and her parents, Bob Grimes and Billie Grimes. She is survived by: her husband John Fagan; her siblings, Bobby, Bill Grimes and Mary Porch; and her children, Brandon Fagan (Emma), Alison DiMauro (Dominic) and Jennifer Knejfl (Henry). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (6066 Mill Creek Dr, Birmingham, AL 35242). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094).
