He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram McCoy and Bernie Hess McCoy; his siblings, Jim McCoy, Palmer McCoy (Audrey), Carlos McCoy (Donna Miller), Blanche Maynard (Marion), Edna Wright (Mark) and Elgie Collins (Redford); and his brother-in-law David Gilliam.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hubbard McCoy; his children, Terry Ray McCoy (Sandra) and Beverly Ferguson (Carlton); his granddaughters, Meghan Stewart (Robert) and Kimberly Martin (Jeff); his siblings, Emma Landess (Donald), Virgie Gilliam and Woody McCoy; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo McCoy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
