She was predeceased by : her parent Lucille Ford; her sons, Steven Eugene and Randall Lee; and her siblings, Jimmy Ford and Joyce Ford Lamb.

She is survived by : her son Scott Alan (Craig); her husband Robert Hitt of Tuscaloosa; her grandson Gabriel Randel (Brittany); and her great grandchild James.
