He is survived by : his daughters, Debra Burley (Dan) and Rebecca McManus (Scott); his grandchildren, Lee Burley (Kari), Christopher Burley (Anna) and Jordyn McManus (Wesley Cornelius); his great grandchildren, Michael Burley, Marleigh Burley, Ridge Crawford and Elliott Jack Burley; his niece Margaret Locke; and his nephew Kenneth Peacock. He is also survived by his family and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). The military honors was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery.
