He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Wilson Steele; his daughters, Brenda Steele Madigan (John), Debra Steele Hammons (Mike) and Sondra Steele; his grandchildren, Brad Meacham (Erin), Ande Taylor (Jenny) and Kaycie Doublin; his great grandchildren, Hunter Meacham, Finn Meacham and Eva Leigh Taylor; and his stepfather Bill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (7481 Parkway Dr, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Benevolence Fund at the Leeds First Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
