She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorace Sanders and Katherine Sanders; and her grandson Bradley Chasteen. She is survived by: her husband James Chasteen; her sons, Keith Chasteen (Maegan) and Kurt Chasteen (Laysea); her grandchildren, Ty and Riley Chasteen; her brother Scott Sanders (Shannon); and her sibling's children, Mary Kate and Alaina.
The family will receive flowers or donations can be made in Kay's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to her heart.
