She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorace Sanders and Katherine Sanders; and her grandson Bradley Chasteen. She is survived by: her husband James Chasteen; her sons, Keith Chasteen (Maegan) and Kurt Chasteen (Laysea); her grandchildren, Ty and Riley Chasteen; her brother Scott Sanders (Shannon); and her nieces and nephews, Mary Kate and Alaina.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094).
The family will receive flowers or donations can be made in Kay's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to her heart.
