We are sad to announce that, on September 19, 2025, at the age of 81, Mary Lee (Leeds, Alabama), born in Jasper, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Lee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Cecil and Pauline Sanford; and her brothers, Emmett, Jon and Billy.
She is survived by: her husband Mayor Joe Lee; her children, Scott Lee (Felicia Lee) and Kelly Lee Gann (Adam Gann); her brother Michael Sanford (Nelda); and her grandchildren, Lillian, Bryant, Avery, Joseph and John Wesley.
As an advocate of education and a loyal supporter of Moody High School Athletics, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the 411 Kids Foundation or to Moody High School 411 Network, where she was able to watch every activity broadcasted from the school.
