He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Rebecca and Arvile Umphrey; his siblings, James Umphrey, Euguene Umphrey and Shirley McGatha; and his niece Loretta Umphrey (Stallings).
He is survived by: his siblings, Lucille Dodd and Randy Umphrey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
