He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Gatlin and Letha Gatlin; and his siblings, Wayne Gatlin (Gary Gatlin) and Marilyn Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Clement (Baxter); his grandchildren, Dakota Clement and Janie Clement; and his extended family, Jack, Kathy Foster, Heather and Lauren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, Cancer Center, or American Parkinson Disease Association.
