With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Peck of Leighton, Alabama, born in Arab, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Evelyn find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Morrow and Mildred Morrow; her husband Sonny Peck; and her brothers, Dr. Ralph Morrow and Arthur Morrow.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Starr, Steve Wilburn (Psyche) and Misty Clement. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Leighton Baptist Church.
