Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Howard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Ethan Staggs; his father Howard Wilson Staggs; and his grandparents, Claude, Etta Mae Staggs, Charles and Opal Vaughan.
He is survived by: his mother Kay Vaughan; his sister Spring Willingham; and his close friend Takaya Warren Staggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
