She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Hale and Irene Hale; and her husband Rod Harrell. She is survived by : her children, Jeremiah Bretherick and Jennifer Mears; her stepdaughter Beth Myers (David); her siblings, Joe Hale (Yvonne), Paul Hale (Jose) and Angela Benson; and her grandchildren, Payton Lanier, Madison Mears and Rowyn Myers. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hatton Baptist Church (2090 Hatton School Rd, Leighton, AL 35646). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
