He was predeceased by: his father Frank William "Bill" Charles; his son Timothy Wayne Charles; and his brother Timothy Edwin Charles. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Ann Denmon Charles of Florence, AL; his wife Angela Fountain Charles of Leighton, AL; his daughter Brittany Danielle Carter (Nolan) of Shreveport, LA; his sister Melissa Charles Dodd (Michael) of Florence, AL; and his sons, Jeffrey Fountain (Hye Kyoung) and Joseph Fountain. He is also survived by four grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Old Sarepta Cemetery (153 Old Sarepta Church Rd, Sarepta, LA 71071).
