We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 72, Mary Ann Mayo of Lenox, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Alton "A. T." McQueen. She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Mayo of Lenox; her mother Virginia McQueen of Monroeville; her children, Shannon Sawyer of Frisco City, Brandon Sawyer of Frisco City and Wendy Faye Mayo Folmar of Brewton; her sisters, Sarah Frances Champion (Traylor) of Newman and Donna Marie Kitchens (Blake) of Gulf Shores; her grandchildren, Trevor Sawyer (Ashley), Kaylee Sawyer, Julian Sawyer, Christian Sawyer, Katie Riley and Laiklyn Sawyer; and her great grandchildren, Neal Riley, Maggie Riley, Avery Sawyer and Etta Sawyer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home (2252 US-84, Frisco City, AL 36445). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
