With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willie Tyree of Lenox, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Tyree and Dora Tyree; his wife Margaret Lois Dyess Tyree; and his brothers, Frank Tyree, James Tyree and Mose Tyree.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Tyree of Lenox, Jamie Tyree (Tracy) of Lenox and Pam Wood (Jeff) of Hoover, Alabama; his sister Marie; his grandchildren, Justin Wood (Kristina), Eli Tyree (Morgan), Megan Honea (Jonathan), Ethan Tyree and Anna Wood; and his great grandchildren, Harper Tyree and Easton Tyree.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lenox Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
