He is survived by: his wife Gerda Godwin of Level Plains, AL; and his children, Charlene Roberts, Marquetta Ramirez (Bob), Doris Meissner (Wayne), Sissy Lord (David), Bobby Godwin, Jr. (Regina), Michael Godwin (Veronica), Christopher Godwin, Anthony Godwin and Jammie Sisney (Robbin). He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
