She was predeceased by: her father Henry Gerald Montgomery; her daughter Stephanie Michelle Kelley; and her brother Roy Dale Montgomery. She is survived by: her husband Ellis L. Smith; her children, Alina G. Parker (Daniel), Glenda K. Sibley (Chris), Shawn E. Smith (Becky), Michael L. Smith (Tiffany) and Patrick L. Smith (Theresa); her mother Hazel M. O'Bryant; and her siblings, Michael G. Montgomery and Joy Gail Fowler. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
