With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Kelley of Lexington, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Hammond and Lawton Wright; and her siblings, Evelyn Newton and Larry Wright. She is survived by: her children, Beth McCrary, Regina Thompson (Mickey) and Chris Kelley (Angela); her siblings, Marie Waldrop (Charley) and Barry Shelton (Robin); her sisters-in-law, Robbie Fuller and Ann Wright; her grandchildren, Ty, Jared McCrary, Heath, Logan Thompson, Morgan Kingry, Sarah Legg and William Kelley; her great grandchildren, Austin, Emma, Ann, Makynlee, Keller, Merritt, Mackenzie and Rylan; her niece Miranda Shadrick (Jacob); and her great-nephews, John Tollie, Dalton and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rogersville Funeral Home (18275 US-72, Rogersville, AL 35652). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Heritage Ministries Help Station of Rogersville, AL and would like to extend sincere gratitude for the acts of love and kindness shown.
