He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Red" Pettis and Martha Pettis. He is survived by: his children, Paula Pettis and Austin Pettis; his brother Charles Pettis (Melissa); and his niece Autum Haywood (Anthony). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Eye Baptist Cemetery (46750 US-78, Lincoln, AL 35096).
