She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Allen Smith and Myrtle Clarice Wells Smith; her husband Johnny Stone; her daughter Tina M. Bower; and her siblings, R. A., Bill, Omar, Cecil and Emelle Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Stone (Schella), Shelia R. Norris (Snuffy), Lisa S. Jones (Possum) and Pamela D. Bowden; and her sisters, Lois Hunter and Charlotte Smitherman. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
