It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Holt of Linden, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. W. "Jack" Holt and Norfleet Cannon Holt; his brother Jackie Holt; his nephew Allen Holt; and his brothers-in-law, James Webb and Rex Sheffield, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Maretta E. Holt; his sisters, Martha McKnight (Clifton) and Mary Webb; his siblings-in-law, Aaron "Buck" Etheridge (Jo Ann), Wavelyn Sheffield and Dot Holt; his nephews, Regis Holt (Gigi), Jim Webb, Josh Webb, Rex Sheffield (Jennifer), Jeremy Etheridge (Melissa) and Caleb Hopkins; his great-nephew Josey Rivas; his nieces, Megan Chivers (Dan) and Brittney E. Rivas; his great-nieces, Lily Chivers, Mia Chivers, Callie Chivers, Makayla Etheridge, Avery Hopkins, Ingram Holt and Landry Holt; and his cousins, Bessie Lou Wilson (Maury), Ann Burge (Melvin), Sara Allen (Hooty) and John Cannon (Jo).
