He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otis Daniel Pitts and Nannie Frances Blair Pitts; his sons, James D. Pitts of Lineville, Randy L. Pitts of Pell City and Alan D. Pitts of Biloxi, MS; and his siblings, Freddy Pitts of Atlanta, Joe L. Pitts, Wayne Pitts of Lineville and Esther Morrison of Jacksonville. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
